As a leading educator, Mark Sosin teaches outdoor techniques through seminars and clinics, serves as a hands on consultant to national companies, and shares his expertise with government agencies and conservation groups.
Mark is an advisor to the IGFA, former Director of The Billfish Foundation, and a former Trustee of the University of Florida's Whitney Laboratory.
A past President of the Outdoor Writer's Association of America and recipient of its coveted Excellence In Craft Award as well as its prestigious Ham Brown Award. Mark holds memberships in; The Outdoor Writer's Association of America, the American Society of Journalists and Authors, the Society of Professional Journalists, the Southeast Outdoor Press Association and the Metropolitan Outdoor Press Association. He has also been voted into the IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame, the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame and the International Fishing Hall of Fame.
